Jocelyn Yow (she/her)

Jocelyn Yow has 10 years of experience in politics and has worked at all levels of government. She won her election for Eastvale City Council in Riverside County with a 40-point margin at the age of 23, and at the age of 25, she became the youngest woman of color to serve as mayor of a California city. Jocelyn also teaches political science at Norco College, while serving as the legislative advocacy director at IGNITE National, where she spearheads the organization’s legislative priorities. 


Prior to joining IGNITE, Jocelyn served as the constituent service manager for Congressman Gil Cisneros and the immigration specialist for House Emerita Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Jocelyn obtained her MA from Harvard Extension and her BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
