Jonathan Webb is the CEO of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). With nearly two decades in public health, Jonathan has worked at local, state, and national levels to promote equity, improve community health outcomes, address social determinants of health, and tackle various epidemics, including maternal and infant mortality, childhood obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.


Jonathan's professional journey includes roles in two local health departments: the Office of Epidemiology for the City of Chicago and leading the Community Health Division for the City of Evanston. In addition, he has over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, where he has led strategy, built partnerships, fundraised, advocated, and implemented programming for organizations such as the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP), McGaw YMCA, Feed the Children, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Osteopathic Association.


A member of the inaugural cohort of the Obama Leaders USA program, Jonathan is also a 2024 Aspen Health Fellow and a 2024 Eisenhower Fellow. Throughout his career, he has prioritized centering community voices and lived experiences, creating environments that support equitable care and health outcomes for all. He is a dedicated advocate for women, children, pregnant and birthing people, and children and youth with special health care needs.


Jonathan is a proud son, husband, and father of two beautiful children.
